EVERYTHING CHANGES WHEN JESUS SHOWS UP- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Associate Pastor Shaun Murphy reads Isaiah 40:3-5 preaching on the hope we have in Jesus Christ. He shows the judgment of God on Judah in the first 39 chapters of the Book of Isaiah, and then the deliverance and hope that follows in the rest of the book. The judgment of God will spread; therefore, we must learn from it. He is a God of comfort and wants to deliver us from our sin, and take away all our fear. We see in scripture, time and time again, how tests and trials will expose sin and help us to grow in our faith when we repent and seek more of Him. Pastor Shaun encourages us that hope requires patience, and through it all, while it seems unending, He will renew our strength. He is our Comforter and our Healer, and He is going to come through in our time of need. All blessing, glory, honor, and righteousness are His; for He is our suffering servant who died in our place on Calvary’s Cross, a price that only He could pay.
