REGENERATION AND RENEWAL- It’s demolition day. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Loren Larson reads Galatians 3:1-3 teaching on the perfecting of the saint whose faith is anchored in the finished work of Christ. At salvation, the believer is regenerated into a new creation and our old man has died. Brother Larson explains how we then experience an ongoing renewal, as Satan will try to corrupt what God is doing in us. Being born again means, we take on a God consciousness; therefore, we should have humility about us to know we forever need our Savior to change us into the image of Christ. This can only be done by the power of the Holy Spirit, and not by any efforts of our own. For we began in the Spirit, and must know what we have in Christ, for righteousness does not come any other way, but by the ongoing renewing of the Spirit. When we die to self, it produces dependency on Him, and that will produce growth in our faith and love for God and God’s people.
