SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Dave Smith reads Luke 15:11-13 teaching on the story of the Prodigal Son and his brother. The story is an example of many believers who get tired of going God's way and turn to vanity and the vexation of Spirit. The older brother, in his self-righteousness, exposes his jealous heart for his younger brother who received his father's love all because he returned home, and repented. The older brother is a picture of a religious heart, like that of the Pharisees and Sadducees, who didn't understand the mercy and grace of God. Our heavenly Father loves us with a perfect love, and no matter how far we wander, He keeps knocking on the door of our hearts so we will return home to Him. His goodness endures forever.
