THE GREAT SHEPHERD OF PEACE AND PERFECTION- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Loren Larson reads Hebrews 13:21-22 teaching on the peace and perfection our Savior has for every believer. He gave His life for His sheep. He is our personal shepherd, our chief shepherd, and our great shepherd. We sometimes grow tired under persecution, and our faith grows week, but we can find strength in the finished work of Christ. The entire Book of Hebrews persuades and encourages the new converts to stay in the faith and grow; despite any and all persecution, they were being called to turn back to the truths of the New Covenant and out of their despair. Brother Larson teaches on how, just like sheep, we are dumb, and need a shepherd to lead us to all necessities. i.e., food and protection. As believers, everything in our lives is a test, and we need our Great Shepherd to prove Himself true in our lives. He will lead us to peace that goes beyond all earthly understanding. He is perfection that lives within us when we only believe.
