WE ARE NOT OUR OWN- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart recipient Dave Roever reminds us of the Lord’s Prayer and the commandment to forgive our enemies. The believer must trust the Lord for He knows what He has planned for us. Brother Roever says what we need to learn is the thing that holds us down, regarding our faith being anchored in Christ, is what holds us up. He died for us to save us and lead us into His righteousness. We grow in Him, and that growth includes forgiving those who have hurt us. The power of the Holy Spirit and our faith in Christ can get us through everything. Brother Roever concludes with an altar call focused on the deliverance of unforgiveness, where only faith in Christ can accomplish this is our hearts.
