THE RENEWING OF THE BELIEVER- The inward man is renewed day by day. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Loren Larson reads 2 Corinthians 4:15-18, reminding us that renewal in the life of a believer never ceases. At salvation, we are justified, and freed from the penalty of past sin in our lives; we are also sanctified, where the power of sin is broken as well. Brother Larson says this redemptive sanctification is something we need to learn how to progress in. When we find ourselves in the valleys of this life, we will recognize our need. With our faith anchored in the finished work of Christ, the Holy Spirit will continually renew us. He alone transforms us; this is not something we can do by our own hands. When we believe right, our nature and character becomes what God wants us to be. He intends to finish what He started.
