"The Fear of God" David Borg ministers this evening from Matthew 10:24-28. Even though God is love, God is a God who commands individuals to serve Him in a particular way. Form his opening verses, David Borg moves into Hebrews and addresses the rejection of the New Covenant. Believers must never disregard the New Covenant and the sole way that Jesus Christ has provided for believers to approach God as justified. If the believer rejects a portion of the New Covenant, the result will be chastisement.
