WALKING IN THE TRUTH OF THE CROSS- Many believers today do not fully understand that the power of sin was broken when Christ died on the Cross. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Loren Larson preaches from Galatians 3:1-5, teaching on the benefits of the Cross of Christ. We must understand that this is where we place our faith. This is why Christ died to break the bondage of sin and set men free. If we learn the benefits of the finished work, we will then know all that we received at salvation; we were sanctified and justified, and here we see the entrance of the Holy Spirit. Brother Larson says the baptism of the Holy Spirit will come as well, when we seek this second subsequent work, and receive the infilling and speak in other tongues. He warns that we must understand and know salvation’s benefits first, but all too often many groups will wrongly put their faith in the baptism of the Holy Spirit for victory over sin. God’s order of victory begins with faith in the Cross of Christ, which leads the way for all that the Holy Spirit can do in a life.
