YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor David Watts reads Acts 2:17-18 discussing the calling of God on the life of a woman. Here in bible history, Peter was explaining what onlookers were seeing on the Day of Pentecost; and at that time, slaves and women had very little status. Brother Watts says God calls women to preach just as he does men. All too often, 2nd Timothy 2:11-12 is wrongly interpreted that women shouldn’t preach. Brother Watts shares stories of the many women in the Old and New Testaments that God used as Miriam, Deborah, Tabitha, and Philip’s daughters who prophesied, along with many other women; Paul called them fellow laborers for the work of the gospel. God made male and female in the image of God. Brother Watts goes on to encourage us with many more women in ministry in the 1900’s like Maria Woodworth Etter and Kathryn Kuhlman who saw the power of God move mightily and heal in their meetings. God calls, and He will equip and anoint those who will respond and believe on the finished work of Christ alone.
