REMEMBER FOR I AM GOD— Today Pastor Donnie Swaggart preaches from 2 Samuel 22:1-4; sharing the story of the battle at Hacksaw Ridge in WW II. He paints the picture of the love of a Christian Lieutenant Desmond who would not leave the wounded, and how he personally saved 75 fellow soldiers. The Lieutenant kept asking God to help him to save one more man. Though he had been ridiculed for his faith early on, he was asked to pray to the Lord about breaking the Sabbath for battle, and the result was, they won the victory. Desmond received the first medal to go to a contentious objector. Brother Donnie brings us to our text with David, he was coming to an end and Solomon was now king of Israel. He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world. In the world, no perfection exists. David loved God, and never blamed others. He was a warrior; and God needs more warriors. There is no power greater than the power of the Holy Spirit. Music can lead us into the throne room of God. Brother Donnie reminds us, we have a song to sing; never forget the power of our salvation.
