EMMANUEL- What did Mary think about being chosen to bring the Redeemer into the world? Today at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart reads from Luke 2:1-14, describing how the Angel Gabriel appeared before Mary, making the declaration of God; His name shall be called Jesus, Emmanuel, God with us. Jesus would be the Savior of the world to save mankind from their sin. All the problems of life will vanish in the presence of God. We are made whole through salvation. The prophet Micah, 720 years before Christ’s birth, prophesied that out of Bethlehem shall come a ruler. Jesus was born yes, but He will totally fulfill that prophecy when He returns to reign in Jerusalem forever.
