THE TRIAL OF YOUR FAITH- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart preaches from 1 Peter 1:6-9; encouraging the believer that God can work with our failures, but He can’t work with quitters. The Apostle Peter failed the Lord greatly, even denied Him three times, but the Lord told Peter I pray for you that your faith fail not. Pastor Gabe says, as believers we can expect trials, and the weariness that comes with them, but be encouraged, these only last for a season. The trials come not as a punishment, but rather to strengthen our faith and prepare us. Just as gold is refined and impurities are burned away when the heat is turned up on the fire, Pastor Gabe says, rejoice in your trials giving God all the praise and the glory. We must know who we are in Christ.
