JUDGMENT, HYPOCRISY, AND THE CALL TO HOLINESS- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart reads Matthew 7:1-5 teaching on what it means to be a Christian. All too often, we hear the statement, the Bible says, we must not judge. Pastor Gabe walks us through the ways we are not to use this view as a shield or a sword. Truth cannot be silenced. We must be careful of pride creeping into our hearts and know that when we do wrongly judge, we too will one day be judged accordingly. Jesus is addressing the believer with this teaching on humility and warning against moral superiority. Before we decide to address the splinter in our neighbor’s eye, we must take account of the plank in our own eye. All believers are called to love and restore others just as Christ has for us.
