THE COMFORTER- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart reads John 14:15-18 teaching on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. He shares the testimony of an American missionary who was beaten mercilessly while imprisoned in Japan after Pearl Harbor. God heard his prayers, and lessened his torment, by filling him with the Holy Spirit. When he began praying in tongues, the Japanese guards would stop beating him, and would return him to his cell. Brother Donnie encourages us that the same Holy Spirit will bring comfort to us today. His power will be poured out in these last days, just as scripture says. The Spirit of God will convict us, prove us of righteousness, and guide us into all truth.
