A BELIEVER’S INFLUENCE ON SOCIETY- Do people see Jesus in me? Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart reads Matthew 5:13-16 teaching on Jesus’ words in the Sermon on the Mount. Believers are to be salt and light in this world. Salt is a preservative that stops decay, and a seasoning that adds flavor. All believers are called to reach the lost and take the gospel to the world. We are not called to isolation; but rather, we are to be ambassadors for Christ for we are His hands and feet. When faith is anchored in the finished work of Jesus, the Holy Spirit will work on our behalf to change us. Our light should reflect the light of Christ, and as it shines in the darkness, the unsaved will notice. The judgment of God is coming, and the truth of Christ must go forth.
