JESUS CHRIST-THE FULFILLMENT OF THE LAW- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart reads Matthew 5:17-18, as he continues his study on Christian character. The Law was God’s standard of righteousness, for God promotes morality. Man has no power to keep the law; therefore, Jesus Christ came to die as our sacrificial offering for the sins of all mankind. God stepped out of heaven, and came to the earth, to go to the Cross. It is on the Cross that Jesus Christ fulfilled all the law. Death was to be our punishment for sin, but He paid our debt on Calvary’s Cross and atoned for all sin, past, present, and future; all we have to do is believe.
