ABRAHAM AND THE REVELATION OF JEHOVAH-JIREH- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart reads Genesis 22:9-14 teaching on the provision of God. God will direct every step of our path, just as He did for Abraham. We will have failures in this journey of faith, just as all the saints of old did. We must have a revelation of knowledge that God provided our victory over sin. Brother Donnie encourages us that our failures give God an avenue to show us His grace and mercy. Satan will ever try to deceive and keep us from doing the will of God. Abraham had much to surrender to God beginning with his land and his kinfolk. The Holy Spirit cannot share God’s glory with our fleshliness. At salvation, God creates a new heart in us. He will reveal to us that He is our Jehovah-Jireh and supplies ALL our needs. Jesus, the substitute sacrifice for our sin, brings freedom, as Christ’s death is our death, burial, and resurrection. In Christ, we are found as a new man and woman, this is where we find victory and blessing.
