THE IDEAL CHRISTIAN BEHAVIOR- Our words and our actions are important; knowing what we have in the Cross of Christ, will produce right character. Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart reads Mathew 5:38-42 teaching on proper Christian character. The Sermon on the Mount is for the believer. Naturally, when we are hurt or offended we are prone to want to retaliate, seeking revenge for being wronged. Jesus says, we must turn the other cheek, and not be quick to defend ourselves. We must rise above the circumstance, and help those in need when the opportunity presents itself. When our faith is anchored in the finished work of Christ, the Holy Spirit will make a way for us to walk out the behavior God expects from His children.
