UNITY-THE PRECIOUS OINTMENT- There is power in unity. Today, at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jason Stidham reads Psalm 133:1-3 teaching on the unity of the church. He says all too often, biblical unity is spoken of in the church, but is little practiced. It is the key to unlock the moving and power of the Holy Spirit. A divided nation needs a united church. David, the author of this Psalm knows about unity and division firsthand through his personal experience. We are only brothers and sisters in the Lord if we are born again. Church members must stand behind their pastors, and pray for their leaders to have God given revelation so the body can grow. Brother Stidham says, unfortunately, many church members don’t care enough one way or another to back their leaders. There is a corporate anointing that results, when those who are called individually are obedient to the call to build the Kingdom, and then God will give us the power to do it through the Holy Spirit. We are one in Christ Jesus our Lord.
