BEWARE OF THE COUNTERFEIT- We live in a time where false prophets abound. Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart reads Matthew 7:15-20 teaching on the danger of being deceived spiritually to another way of salvation. Beware, not everyone who speaks the name of God, comes in the authority of His name. As believers, we must know our Word so we are able to detect false prophets. We must know the deception of the counterfeit prophet, so that we may detect the false prophet, and know the counterfeit’s destination. The motive is to come in on some truth, but inevitably lead people to themselves. The false prophet is a wolf in sheep’s clothing who is set out to destroy the sheep. The true prophet has the true anointing. We can know them by their fruit, who are they when no one is looking? We must guard our hearts.
