THE PREACHING OF THE CROSS- Today at Family Worship Center, guest Evangelist Chris Moody reads 1st Corinthians 1:18 teaching on the ministry of Christ and the three most monumental places correlated to Him, which are the tomb, the Cross, and the garden. God’s glory was manifested at the tomb as the resurrection occurred. Jesus didn’t come, for us to stay in a tomb; reading Romans 5:17, Brother Moody tells us the only way to live a resurrected life is to experience it in a crucified life. The Cross is a lifestyle we must hide ourselves in; it’s where we find shelter. We need to go to the Garden of Gethsemane, just as Jesus did, seeking the Father’s will and not our own. Our will must collide with the will of God before we can experience resurrection power, which only comes to us by faith in the finished work of Christ on the Cross.
