THE TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart reads Colossians 1:3-6 teaching on the false doctrine alive and well in the church today. Man cannot redeem himself. During the days of the early church, the Apostle Paul stood for the truth of the gospel and that no self-efforts of man could bring about righteousness that only faith in Jesus Christ could bring. Only faith in the finished work of Christ at Calvary can bring about the sanctification we are looking for. Anchored faith in His truth allows the Holy Spirit to work on our behalf. There is no revelation from God that is not found in the Word of God. Jesus Christ is the Word. He is the truth of the gospel, and where truth is you’ll find the Holy Spirit.
