No more death or barren land, today Brother Swaggart looks into 2 Kings 2:9-21 and encourages us with the lives of the great prophets Elijah and Elisha. He reminds that just as the prophets of old, we too will see the miracles and blessings of God, if we’d only ask. Jesus said, if we ask, we shall receive. And just as Elisha, Brother Swaggart says, ask big; Elisha requested a double portion of the Spirit be upon him. And Elisha saw the Jordan open as he came unto Jericho, and he and the people realized he had the power of God with him just as was with Elijah. He healed the poisoned waters of Jericho, one of his 28 miracles; our reminder that Christ alone can heal the broken heart and set the captive free.
