REMEMBER- Remember what God has done for you. This morning, Pastor Donnie Swaggart preaches from Deuteronomy 8:1-6. He recalls the story of the Israelites, delivered from Egyptian bondage, and finding themselves going through a desert. He reminds that God, not Moses, truly led the way. The people were wandering some 40 years, as one generation died and another began. In those years, the people were humbled and proven. Do you remember what God has led you through? Have you forgotten the good things; your salvation, the infilling of the Holy Spirit, protection, and other wonderful works of healing and miracles. Brother Donnie says what trials we go through will measure our Spiritual life; the more we remember, the more we will grow, and the more we will praise Him. He encourages us to not be content with our bad times. Remember, God shines His light brightest just when it looks like we are not going to make it. So even in the darkness of life, give Him glory and praise in remembrance for ALL He has done, and all He is going to do.
