THAT I MAY THRUST OUT YOUR RIGHT EYE- Compromise is the first step to destruction. Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart preaches from 1 Samuel 11:1-11; teaching on how many in the church are compromising by finding life’s answers in the world. Just as the scripture here finds the seeds of compromise being sown, as the people want Saul for their King, longing to be like the other nations of the world. Saul was not God’s choice for king, but God still used Saul somewhat until Saul lifted up in pride. Satan wants to destroy our witness and our testimony by drawing us away from God’s plan. In war, the warrior needed his right eye; but Satan wants to blind us in this battle against the things and people of God. The Spirit of the Lord can defeat all the powers of darkness. Who is in the Lord’s army today?
