THE BITTER WATERS OF MARAH- Today at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart preaches from Exodus 15:22-26. Brother Swaggart reminds us of how the three million Israelites crossed the Red Sea free from bondage. They had on the finest clothes, and there wasn’t a feeble one in the group; but it wasn’t long after, they were complaining of hunger and thirst. As believers, we all will have a test of faith, and our reaction is key. The Lord showed Moses the proper reaction; he was to put a tree, i.e., the Cross, into the bitter water and it was made sweet. Moses knew to obey God. When we obey the ways of God, He sets a table in our wilderness. The Israelites had manna everyday and water from a rock. Through the Cross of Christ, God has made a way; He is our smitten rock and bread of heaven, all we have to do is trust Him and believe.
