I’VE GOT A FEELING, EVERYTHING’S GOING TO BE ALL RIGHT-Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Chris Moody from Cleveland Tennessee reads 1st Samuel 17:1-11 tackling the topic of fear in the believer’s life. Brother Moody says too many believers today are consumed with fear, just as Israel was as the Philistines put forth a giant to fight. The fear of a Goliath in our lives is putting our faith in fear and not in Christ. But a little, rugged, shepherd boy from Bethlehem, David, a type of Christ, brought praise in the valley. Why do we Praise Him? Jesus Christ came and conquered all our giants on the Cross of Calvary. We must be in the army of the Lord; praising Him for the victories He has already won on man’s behalf. We have an authority in the name of Jesus because of what He did on the Cross; when we live every day believing this, just as Goliath our trials and struggles will fall.
