Our faith in the finished work of Christ alone is the only way to stay in God’s prescribed order to have victory in our lives. The sin nature must stay unplugged. For if we rise up in self-efforts, the sin nature can, and will rise, as well. It is a corrupting force into sinfulness and selfishness that can consume the believer’s heart again when our faith moves. We must pursue the Cross; seeking God, to help us to understand God’s provision is perfect. We must continue in it, abide in it, and live in it every day.
