The New Covenant, in Christ, offers a government of grace. Today on The Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the new government under the Law of Christ. The Apostle Paul was teaching the new converts this truth, as they were no longer under the Mosaic Law, for righteousness, without the law, will be manifest. The New Covenant is a totally different way of living for God. The default position of the flesh, wrongly tries to work out his or her victory. Covenant blessings and benefits available to the believer today will only result when we marry ourselves to Christ’s finished work alone. Faith is to stay anchored in what Christ accomplished on the Cross, then a victorious Christian life can be had.
