Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel welcome Pastor Tommy Bates from Community Family Church in Independence Kentucky. The panel discusses the fallen nature of man and his pride that comes against God’s way. Because of our sin nature, man is drawn to do good works and deeds to grow closer to God. But at salvation, the divine nature of God comes in and the sin nature is made dormant. God, through Christ, shows us how damaging this fallen nature is to mankind. The pride of man never wants to know how fallen he actually is. Man must turn from this inward, natural rebellion against God; only faith in the blood, knowing Christ died for every sin and problem of mankind will result in a victorious Christian life by the power of the Holy Spirit.
