The Cross removed the barrier between God and man. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Ephesians 2:15 discussing the atonement; for only faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, can take away the sin of the world. Humanistic psychology and any works based sanctification, that many churches have adopted, will not work. Sin has been wrongly redefined as a disease, and therefore the solution has been redefined. Brother Dave Smith says there is only one solution for sin, and that is the blood of Jesus Christ. The death of Christ covers our sin, and by His power, the Holy Spirit can take away the sin rooted in the heart. Our victory is in Christ alone and it is found only when we believe.
