The wrath of man works not the righteousness of God. Today on the Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss selfish anger versus Godly anger as they read Ephesians 4:26. Brother Swaggart says our temper causes man more problems, and it is sometimes one of the last sins to linger in a believer’s life. Scripture doesn’t call us to not be angry, but rather, it says be angry, and sin not. Brother Josh says there are times when righteous anger rises, just as Christ showed His anger by overturning the money changing tables that were brought into the temple. More Christians should be angry at the state of our country with regards to our education system indoctrinating our children to consider gender identity and the push towards Communism. We must be careful to not harbor bitterness, or react incorrectly, but all believers should desire to stop the evil of Satan and speak out for what God says is wrong, and standup for the Word of God.
