Faith properly placed in the Cross gives no place to Satan. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Ephesians 4:27 discussing how the believer can give the devil a foothold in our lives through the harboring anger. It is Satan’s goal to bring discord among the brethren for he hates God. Unforgiveness and a prolonged anger against others will bring division in the church and this hinders the work of God. Brother Swaggart says we must know, because of Calvary, Satan and all his demon spirits are a defeated foe. There is coming an hour where Satan will be placed in the Lake of Fire forever; there, he will no longer be able to tempt man. In the meantime, we can be confident, that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal; but rather we must keep our faith anchored in Christ and Him crucified, Christ has already won this fight.
