Do not be deceived by vain words of men. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Ephesians 5:6-7 discussing deception. Brother Swaggart reminds us of Israel and her wanderings in the Old Testament; when Israel was disobedient, in unbelief, she found the wrath of God. When she was obedient, she found blessings. God would allow her enemies and judgment to come because of Israel's disobedience. Under the New Covenant, God’s blessings come the same today. What we believe, controls what we do. Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ is the key to all blessings. His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
