Today on The Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Ephesians 5:18 discussing being controlled by the Holy Spirit continually. His Spirit is to be a constant in the believer’s life, and no other spirit is to intervene in what the Holy Spirit wants to do in our lives. When the believer is submissive to the things of God, and places their faith in the finished work of Christ alone, then and only then the Holy Spirit will be constantly working on our behalf.
