Believers have divine guidance through Christ, our high counselor; any other way of counseling falls under psychology, the two cannot be merged. Jesus Christ came to cleanse the world of sin, psychology disregards sin and silences our need for a divine physician. Brother Joseph says we must realize that we are guilty of sin, and there is no earthly remedy for it. The comfort we seek can only be found in faith in the Cross of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.
