All victory comes through Christ, and what He did at the Cross. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the Doctrine of Sanctification; thus, victory over the power of sin. At salvation, we are made clean, sanctified, and then declared clean, justified. A believer then grows in grace, and that happens when we anchor our faith in the finished work of Christ. Brother Denoon explains, at conversion, we are put into the body, the temple of Christ; but there are things in us that are not conducive to being in a temple; and through God's cleansing process, these things will be taken out. This is called progressive sanctification. Philippians 1:6 says, He that has done a good work in you, and will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Romans 12:2 tells us when we are dead with Christ, we will then be transformed by the renewing of our minds by His power.
