We must be conformed into the image of Christ. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the Holy Spirit with regards to the Doctrine of Sanctification. We are made clean when we are born again, sanctified; and then, we are declared clean, justified, thus born again. Brother Swaggart says then, as a new believer, we are to grow in grace and the knowledge of the Lord as we keep our faith in Christ and His finished work at the Cross. Brother Larson reminds us that sin will weaken our belief in God and our reliance on Him. This is why it is so important that the believer learns the proper way to have victory over sin, which can only be, when our faith is anchored solely In Christ and what He did on Calvary’s Cross to redeem fallen man.
