How is a person sanctified; that being, how can a believer live a victorious Christian life? When our faith is anchored in Christ’s finished work, the Holy Spirit will go to work on our behalf and bring our condition up to our position in Christ. Misplaced faith, in the wrong object, will hinder that sanctifying work that only the Holy Spirit can do. God wants us all to have victory over sin.
