No flesh shall glory in His presence, but all flesh tries. The Holy Spirit will help us when we do it God’s way. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss the flesh, and how the believer is in the flesh when trying to do good deeds to address the sin in their lives; our self-efforts and willpower is not God’s way. Brother John reminds to rest in, and believe on, what Christ did on Calvary’s Cross, and the Holy Spirit will work on our behalf to give us victory over sin. It’s not by our power, but by His power. This is the place where a believer is to live, walk, and rest so the Holy Spirit can make us into the image of Christ’s holiness and righteousness. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus will make us free from the law of sin and death. We are complete in Him because of what Christ did on Calvary’s Cross.
