Sin will always rule and reign if it is not stopped. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart, discuss the love and the wrath of God. When God offers insight of Himself and it is rejected, God will show forth His wrath and His displeasure against sin. God’s judgment is an expression of His mercy. In Romans chapter one, we see how when the light of Christ is repressed, sin will hold onto a heart and life, resulting in a downward spiral. Over time, God will turn one over to their rebellion towards His redemption plan. Brother Larson says when we look at the end of the list of sins in this chapter; we can see America and even many in the church today. The wrath of God is being revealed now against men who reject the truth in unrighteousness. God says if we die in this condition we will be eternally lost; through God’s mercy, He is trying to teach His redemption plan through Jesus Christ. When His plan is received, man will see a reverse in this destructive path to a new road leading toward eternity spent with Him in Heaven.
