The Holy Spirit can now live inside every believer because of the finished work of Christ on the Cross. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel welcome Pastor Gary French from Kentucky. Reading Galatians 1:6, Paul is addressing the Galatians who so quickly were removing themselves from their new conversion of faith by going back into the law and works of Judaism. The believer cannot work out his own salvation or their victory over sin; the Holy Spirit will solely work in our lives because of Christ’s finished work. We must believe in that and that alone so the Holy Spirit can work victory in our lives. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2). At the Cross, Christ atoned for all sin past, present, and future. Our faith must stand, not in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
