Creating a woman was not an after thought on the part of God. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss the creation of woman, and God’s motives behind His creation. Brother John shares how woman was not created to be inferior, nor was she created to be superior. For centuries, men misunderstood the role of the woman. A help meet was intended to be a partner, along side the man, not less than him; thus created with the rib/side of Adam. Brother Swaggart reminds that it was a woman who was the first convert on European soil, and the first European church was started by a woman. He adds that women can, and are called to preach and teach in the church. The Cross erases the distinction of superiority; there is only saved and unsaved. Brother Josh says over all, woman is the womb of mankind; and the glory of the woman was to bring forth the Messiah.
