Grace cannot be earned or merited, but only given by God freely. Today on The Message of The Cross Brother Swaggart and panel discuss the Doctrine of Grace and His goodness given to those who have faith in Christ and what He did at Calvary’s Cross; the Holy Spirit then takes on a life long project to teach the Word of God to the believer. Brother Swaggart reminds how Cornelius gave much alms and was even met by an angel, but he still was not saved. When we believe on Him, we accept His blood cleanses us of our sin. Brother Smith says Jesus meets a need that the heart is longing for that no personal effort or good work can fill, only Christ fills our void.
