Sin is going outside of God’s prescribed order of victory. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel welcome guest Evangelist Chresten Tomlin from Tulsa Oklahoma. Man will use the wrong resources when he believes he can handle the power of sin with his own willpower. We need a revelation from God to know that even as a saved individual there is nothing within us that is good, because we are inherently evil. Only faith in Christ and His finished work on Calvary’s Cross can afford us the power of the Holy Spirit to move in our lives and free us from the bondage of the sin that so besets us. Freedom in Christ is better than recovery.
