Today on The Message of The Cross, Pastor Loren Larson and panel discuss what happens at salvation regarding the Holy Spirit. Man is regenerated by the power of the Holy Spirit. The panel discusses the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and what happens to the believer who receives this second subsequent work. Brother Larson goes on to explain the difference between the two. At salvation, the law of the Spirit of life works in us when we walk in the Spirit. Walking in the Spirit means to have our faith anchored in the finished work of Christ alone, and then the Spirit will quicken our mortal bodies into Christlikeness. The Spirit will only lead us to Christ’s finished work on the Cross, and then the Spirit will transform us.
