Man can do nothing that pleases God outside of faith in the finished work of Christ on the Cross. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Ephesians 5:10, discussing how the Cross alone will stand the test. It will prove itself. It is the only thing that is acceptable to God. The Cross is the only answer God gave for sin; therefore, it is the only thing He can accept. Taking the Cross out of the equation makes anything else only a philosophy. His way and His Word is the only truth, and nothing else can be added to it. When we prove, and put to the test what God has said about the Cross, we will find, the Cross will never fail.
