Today on The Message of The Cross, Pastor Loren Larson and the panel discuss Romans 6 through 8, looking at the Apostle Paul’s realization that law can revive the sin nature in a believer’s life. Faith and grace must be understood for the Holy Spirit to work properly in our lives; as a result, we will grow into the image of Christ. Reading Romans 8:13-16, we know, life is more abundant in Christ, but it is not something we earn. We are responsible to be debtors as God designed it. Being humble, and led by the Spirit, He will guide us in everything we do. There is an assurance when we anchor our faith in the finished work of Christ. He bears witness with our Spirit. With faith in Christ, we now can walk in freedom from sin.
