Blessed be the name of the Lord, for the Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Today on The Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Ephesians 5:20 discussing the fight of faith for every believer. This attitude must never change, and we should never blame God for the adverse situations in our lives. Even Job, in the worst of times, never blamed God. God is always God. We know who is in charge of darkness, but we are walking in the light. We can be thankful for God’s good grace. His grace is sufficient. He always means good for us, for He is merciful. Everything we go through ultimately is for our benefit and growth, and we can give Him thanks continually. The bible says, in everything give thanks, for it rains on the just and the unjust.
