Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the latest in the war in the Middle East. A recent IDF airstrike in the Gaza took out one of the head leaders of Hamas’ three adult sons who were on their way to an operative, but died as martyrs for Islam. With truce agreements being discussed, Hamas is being asked to release their remaining hostages, and it is unclear how many hostages are still alive. The American Muslim society and others are leading a wave of empathy in the United States for the Palestinian people as they promote a false propaganda that Israel is an evil occupier. Continuing in their study in the fifth chapter of Ephesians, they discuss the need for spiritual growth within a marriage. Faith and dependence in the finished work of Christ alone is the only way a husband can love his wife, as Christ loved the church, and then he can deny self and lead his family accordingly. This is the only way that the Holy Spirit will move and work in the lives of the husband and the wife to live out a marriage that is honoring to the plan of God, and this will attract the faith of the children to the righteousness of Christ.
